Metropolitan float the Shoreditch Festival boat...

27 July 2012

Metropolitan put the ship into home ownership in July by supporting the Shoreditch Festival with sponsorship of free boat rides along the Regent’s Canal.

The home ownership service,  which is currently actively marketing our fantastic newly built private sale and FIRST STEPS Shared Ownership apartments at Reliance Wharf on the Regents Canal in Hackney, was delighted to support the event. The festival runs annually and provides an opportunity to showcase local talent from musicians, artists and performers to food producers and craft beer makers. The festival organisers work with the Barbican to bring a range internationally renowned live music, theatre, dance, storytelling and art to the party; this year the festival joined in the pre-Olympic buzz as the flame passed through the event on July the 21st.

Alex Finlayson, Director of Communications at The Shoreditch Trust, who organised the event said:

“Many thanks for Metropolitan’s support of the free boat trips at Waterhouse over the Festival weekend, they proved incredibly popular especially with the lovely weather!”
