Homematch is a hit!

Over 4,000 hits in first week for our new Homematch service
Launched last week, Metropolitan’s new Homematch service for prospective affordable home buyers in London, has been a huge hit with over 4,000 unique visitors to its website since its launch last week. The site has seen 26,000 unique page views with over 20,000 property searches in this initial period.
Bernie Conroy, Home Ownership Director at Metropolitan said:
“We launched this site last week as we believed that there is demand for a service like this. The first week figures are the proof. The launch of the site was relatively soft, the marketing campaign is only just starting making these initial figures even more encouraging. It isn’t only our unique visits that are promising; we can see from our figures that people like the site, spending on average nearly 8 minutes per visit and up to 30% of people have already paid a return visit to the site. Based on these figures I am really excited about the future of this service”.
Homematch, the first independent property marketing portal launched by a housing association, puts people looking to buy or rent an affordable home in London in contact with housing providers working across the capital and provides an easy way for searching and applying for a home. The service specialises in low cost home ownership and ‘less than market rent’ homes for Londoners earning less than £66,000 for those looking for a one or two bedroom home, or £80,000 for those who require a home of three bedrooms or more.
