Specialist Financial Advisors

Download a list of specialist Financial Advisors (SFAs) selected by Metropolitan that have specialist experience of providing Shared Ownership affordability assessments plus financial advice. They are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

Take your next step towards home ownership and book a financial advice session with one of our panel member SFAs. They will help you work out what you can afford and review how Shared Ownership can work for you. Please contact the panel SFA of your choice within five working days of receiving the panel list to arrange your affordability assessment and financial advice session. Once you’ve done this, you’ll also need to contact your Metropolitan Sales Officer to confirm who your SFA appointment is with, as well as the date and time of your appointment.

It is important to note, the affordability assessment carried out by the SFA on behalf of Metropolitan and the provision of a mortgage are two separate services.

You can choose to use any approved mortgage provider for your mortgage, but the affordability assessment must be undertaken by an SFA from our approved Panel. You can use the panel SFAs to get your mortgage, but it is not a statutory requirement. We do not endorse any mortgage related services of the SFAs on our panel. The choice is yours.

If you choose to use any of these SFAs to arrange your mortgage, you should ask about the mortgages they can access for you and what fees are payable to them.
